Questions to ask before you order
You don't have to fill in a provider's forms before you can get the facts. A short email will usually get you a clear answer on price, what you'd be prescribed, and how the service works — so you can compare providers properly before you commit. Here are the questions we think matter most, and a ready-to-send email you can copy.
The questions that matter most
Can you point me to a table of your ongoing monthly prices, excluding any introductory offer?
Headline and first-month prices are often discounts. Ask for the ongoing all-in monthly figure — that's your real long-term cost.
Can you explain dose titration to me — the schedule, and how the monthly cost changes as the dose steps up?
The drug, brand and dose schedule affect both how you get on and what you pay as you increase the dose.
Who is the named prescriber, and how will you assess me — not just an online questionnaire?
A prescriber (a pharmacist or doctor whose registration you can check) should assess you properly, including verifying your height, weight and BMI — not a form alone.
Do you need anything from my GP — a letter, blood tests or blood pressure readings — before I can be prescribed, if I'm approved?
Good providers set out what they need up front; some ask for baseline health information before prescribing.
What's your current stock, and can you guarantee continuity so my titration isn't interrupted?
GLP-1 medicines have had shortages. You want to know your next dose will be there when you need to step up.
What happens if my weight loss stalls or stops, or I don't lose weight as quickly as I'd hoped?
Ask what support there is — maintenance, nutrition and behavioural help — and what your options are if you need to change treatment.

- Do I have to submit photos or videos of myself to prove my body shape and size? Is there an alternative?
- Will you tell my GP you've prescribed this, so my medical record stays accurate?
- Is delivery temperature-controlled (cold-chain) and discreetly packaged?
- Do you have a helpline or chat where I can reach a real person — during working hours, or 24/7?
- What practical side-effect support do you give, and when does a symptom need medical attention?
A short honest note
A good provider will be happy to answer a brief enquiry like this. If a provider won't give you straight answers on price, prescriber and support before you order, that tells you something too.
