Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We aim to make WeightMedsCompare usable by everyone, including people with dyslexia, low vision and other access needs.

Last updated: August 2026

Our commitment

WeightMedsCompare aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. We go beyond the baseline by:

  • using a calm, low-stimulation visual design (no autoplaying media, no flashing animations);
  • writing in plain English with short paragraphs and clear section headings;
  • maintaining strong colour contrast in both light and dark modes;
  • making the matcher answerable in any order, with progress saved so you can return later;
  • supporting full keyboard navigation and screen-reader use.

Known limitations

  • Some third-party provider screenshots may lack rich alt text — we add descriptive text in the surrounding caption.
  • Older PDF guides (where present) may not be fully tagged for screen readers; we are progressively replacing these with HTML.

Report a barrier

If something on WeightMedsCompare is hard to use, please tell us. Email hello@weightmedscompare.co.uk with the page URL and a short description of the barrier. We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and to fix or explain within 10 working days.

Enforcement

As a private commercial site, WeightMedsCompare is not subject to the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018, but we voluntarily aim to meet the same standard. UK users with unresolved accessibility concerns can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) for advice on their rights under the Equality Act 2010.
